Chris Christie drops 2016 Republican presidential bid: Aide

After the Nevada caucus and SC primary this month, the Super Tuesday contests of March 1 tend to reward candidates who come armed with the conventional weaponry of political campaigns, rather than Mr. Trump’s unorthodox style.

Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush fired back on attacks leveled by rival Marco Rubio that the former Florida governor has little or no foreign policy experience.

But was there a difference in how the candidates fared in the more rural parts of New Hampshire?

The debate will air live on CBS/WLTX from 9 p.m.to 11 p.m. ET on Saturday, and network’s digital streaming service, CBSN, will offer extensive coverage before, during and after the debate.

New Hampshire’s first-in-the-nation primary left some GOP candidates with a hard-knocks hangover and others just happy to still be alive.

“People are exhausted of stupidity”, Trump said of his victory Tuesday night. The only woman in the Republican field placed seventh in New Hampshire, one of a series of state-by-state nominating contests for the November 8 election to succeed Democratic President Barack Obama.

Kasich, however, said he is confident he will perform well across the South. And he also said he was confident he can compete against Trump for the nomination, but it will take time.

With most results in by Wednesday morning, Sanders had a 60-30 percent lead over Clinton, while Trump was sitting pretty at the top among Republicans with 35 percent – more than double his nearest rival, Ohio Governor John Kasich with 16 percent. “Then they had all sorts of uncertainty going into their convention”.

On voting day in New Hampshire, a steady stream of people could be seen leaving the polling booth at the Green Street Community Centre in Concord.

Rubio, who hoped to match or better his third-place Iowa finish, stumbled to fifth after he took a drubbing in the last debate before the vote, where he robotically repeated his talking points.

“I really think that his strong win in New Hampshire will help him to raise more money”, predicted Sanders supporter Jim Eaton. If Cruz can crush the Florida senator and the other mainstream conservatives in SC, he’ll be in good shape whether he beats Trump there or not.

The poll showed support for Trump in SC at 36 percent, followed by Sen. Mrs Clinton’s campaign deployed SC state congressman Todd Rutherford to vouch for her support for minorities. “I’m going to keep doing what I’m doing”.

Christie was unable to gain traction in New Hampshire despite holding more than 70 town halls there and viewing the state as having a more favorable early primary climate to him than Iowa, where the governor finished in 10th place, without a single delegate.

With Trump cruising to victory as expected, the interest in the Republican race centred on who would win the second place. Bush’s campaign released a radio ad Wednesday in SC featuring his brother, former President George W. Bush.
