Walker issues order to arm Wisconsin National Guard
The money was raised before the Wisconsin governor announced his candidacy last week and was the third-largest total for a Super PAC backing a Republican candidate for the time period, it said in a statement.

Walker said in his order that attacks are becoming more common and “every precaution must be taken to ensure that our servicemen and women are protect from possible future attacks”.
The governors of five other states have also issued similar orders.
Days after taking steps aimed at protecting National Guard recruiters, Gov. Rick Scott plans a visit Wednesday to the 125th Fighter Wing, Florida Air National Guard Base in Jacksonville.
Wisconsin Democracy Campaign executive director Matt Rothschild says Walker’s request is “outrageous”, considering the agency was “just doing its job” by discussing the case with prosecutors.
Walker’s order comes after a gunman killed four U.S. Marines and a Navy sailor at two Chattanooga military facilities on Thursday.
On Friday he called for an end to a ban on service members carrying guns in military recruiting offices.
The federal military has ordered increased security at recruiting stations and reserve centers.
The decision follows the attack on two military facilities in Chattanooga, Tennessee last week. Beduhn said he came armed with a knife and would stay at the center on his day off from working area event security. The company, Green Box NA Green Bay LLC, said its world-changing technology would produce recycled products, electricity and even diesel from fast-food waste and promised to employ 116 people.
“We are trained to handle weapons so it would not be out of the ordinary for those of us who have gone through our basic training to have a firearm”, Rickert said. “If I can do anything to prevent it, I would”.

Capt. Jim Stenger, a spokesman for the Marines’ 9th District, said the corps appreciates the support but doesn’t want citizens standing guard at offices.
