Marco Rubio is starting to go after Donald Trump
“And I think Iowa and New Hampshire perform an incredibly important function in narrowing the field and in many ways this field is becoming a two-person race between me and Donald Trump”, the Texas senator said on the Mike Gallagher Show Wednesday.

A Morning Consult survey released today puts the ex-reality TV star at 44 percent – a more than two-fold advantage over competitor Ted Cruz.
Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio turned up the heat on his opponents – proactively calling them out by name – while campaigning in SC on Thursday.
The poll’s margin of error was minuscule.
With Trump proving in New Hampshire that he can win over a broad coalition of Republicans and independent voters, and Cruz riding high among evangelicals and other social conservatives, the Trump-Cruz battle will be paramount, with mainstream candidates likely scrapping for bronze in SC.
Cruz had 17 percent backing him.
Not even twelve hours after Rubio’s better-than-expected third place finish in Iowa, Christie attacked.
One longtime Rubio supporter who backs Bush faulted Rubio’s campaign for the slip-up. We’ve never quite seen a presidential race like this one.
Kasich seemed to bask in his strong showing in New Hampshire, striking an upbeat tone and noting that he has attracted much more interest in his bid.
Bush has been enlisted to campaign for his brother in SC, where Jeb Bush is making eight campaign stops in the state over the next three days following a fourth-place finish in New Hampshire.
The New Hampshire Primary is very different from last week’s Iowa Caucuses.
Trump earned 38 percent before Tuesday night’s vote.
Reached Wednesday in Manchester, New Hampshire, Vero Beach Republican and Indian River County Tax Collector Carole Jean Jordan said Bush heads to the next GOP presidential primary in SC with momentum and a “great ground team”.
Trump is campaigning elsewhere as he looks to expand his national support.
Florida, which votes on March 15, could prove decisive.
What is less clear is the struggle between Bush and Rubio. The delegate-rich state is critical to his opponents’ efforts to overtake him.
“I ran for president with the message that the government needs to once again work for the people, not the people work for the government”, Christie said in a statement Wednesday evening.
“Donald Trump has zero foreign policy experience”, Rubio said.
Sanders collected 60 percent of the votes in the Democratic primary, swamping former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton with 37. He’s chipping away at her support, though, and has gained four points just this month.

“We won because of your energy”, Sanders said.
