The agenda details the conference call of June 11, 2014, that Gov. Rick Snyder of MI had with two of his aides, Rich Baird and Harvey Collins, to discuss Flint’s “water issues”.
ELKO, Nevada Three ministers from Flint, Michigan endorsed Hillary Clinton on Monday, citing her commitment to helping the city overcome it’s debilitating water crisis.
A spokeswoman for the governor did not respond to requests for information about the call, including the minutes, and could not confirm whether the two aides actually joined the call, nor what sparked the Flint river discussion.
The outbreak ended up being one of the largest in USA history, and it began around the time the state switched the city’s water source to the Flint River, and failed to properly treat the water.
Weaver was also at the January 26 event.
When children were sickened by harmful lead water, the Governor pledged to fix it. But now, critics are raising the stakes.

According to CNN, these deaths could have been prevented if only the city would have allowed the Center’s for Disease Control to come into the city and help officials test the water. “The NAACP is expecting significant progress on the 20-point list of priorities to give residents a timely and clear resolution to this man-made crisis”. Trussell is the internationally recognized water expert the agency has worked with since the beginning of the project to provide detailed recommendations on how to safely introduce the river water into the distribution systems. This means access to fresh fruits and vegetables is very limited to many residents of the city. Fairness/Justice must be examined in rate hikes and continuous billing for poisonous water. 7.
Glasgow wasn’t the only person with complaints about the fast pace as Flint’s switchover approached. All Flint residents must be provided federal funded replacement of damaged systems/appliances. 9. Some residents reported rashes and hair loss after bathing in city water. A multi-disciplinary study must be conducted to assess impacts and needs related to the crisis. 13.

She continued: “The idea to ask Flint to simply add phosphate may be premature; there are many other issues and factors that must be taken into account which would require a comprehensive look at the water quality and the system before any treatment recommendations can/should be made”.
