Adele says technical difficulties were to blame for her unusual off-key performance at the Grammy Awards on Monday night (15Feb16).

It all came after a two-year break to, as she put it, “live a little bit”, which only magnified the hugeness of the whole thing.
It was a messy, chaotic performance that prioritised sight over sound and ended up being a tribute more to Bowie’s showmanship than to his musical accomplishments.
After the ceremony, Adele explained on Twitter that a mic fell into a piano during the performance. It made it sound out of tune. However, the reluctant applause from the audience and the Twitter outrage proved that this may have been Adele’s worst televised performance to date. The audio problems may not have bothered her too much.
“We had the most complicated show on television”. The singer looked stunning in a red gown and her hair pulled back off her face.
Despite taking the world by storm with her latest album 25, Adele wasn’t up for any awards at tonight’s bash.
The 58th annual Grammy Awards, hosted by LL Cool J, took place at Staples Center in Los Angeles.

However, she did make light of the situation adding that she was treating herself to a burger, to maybe the f*ck up was worth it.
