Patriots owner Robert Kraft zings Manning family over total Super Bowl titles
But Patriots owner Robert Kraft wants to make sure everyone knows his quarterback – Tom Brady – has won more Super Bowls than the reigning Super Bowl-winning quarterback, Peyton Manning, and his kid brother, Giants quarterback Eli Manning. Not only were they forced to consider how it could have been them hoisting the Lombardi Trophy, given their close loss to the eventual champion Denver Broncos in the AFC championship game, but they had to watch Peyton Manning, Tom Brady’s arch-rival, hoist the hardware as confetti rained down.

“I happened to see Archie (Manning) there, ” Kraft said. “He has two sons who have won two Super Bowls [each]. But with all due respect, we’ve got one son who’s won four”.
Kraft had an interesting response to Peyton Manning winning his second Super Bowl to also join Eli Manning with two wins. Based on comments he made in an interview with WCVB, it seems like Pats owner Robert Kraft is still licking his wounds.
Specifically, big brother Peyton is 3-1 against the Patriots in AFC Championship Games, while younger brother Eli is 2-0 versus the Patriots in the Super Bowl respectively. I can’t imagine Brady feels all too great about that.
Again, a valid point.
Perhaps the biggest takeaway from Kraft’s interview, however, was that the one thing he regrets about the 2015 season is not getting home field advantage in the playoffs. Instead, the Patriots had to travel to Denver, which began a two-game stretch that caused all sorts of anguish in New England. Not enough owners are open and honest.

But kudos to Kraft for having a voice. He may not always be right, but at least he’s entertaining.
