Leo’s Red Carpet Rampage is our new favourite game
This year’s nomination for his leading role in The Revenant marks Leonardo DiCaprio’s fifth time up for an acting Oscar.

We introduce to you, Leo’s Red Carpet Rampage, an online game that brings Leo’s quest for that elusive Oscar to life. While that sounds a whole lot easier then eating raw bison, of course there are obstacles along the way. Do you maybe wish you could help Leo out a little?
DiCaprio’s relationship with the Academy has been a very long cosmic joke up to this point-and now it’s been expertly crafted into an 8-bit web game. In it, the Titanic star races along the red carpet, leaping over reporters, racing fellow nominees and collecting Baftas, Golden Globes, Emmys and other prizes that already adorn his trophy cabinet, all while chasing that illusive Oscar.
Along the way you have to avoid photographers, Lady Gaga and even outrun your competitors (Bryan Cranston, Eddie Redmayne, Matt Damon and Michael Fassbender all in character).
There are also mini-games that poke fun at memorable Leo moments, like the famous car-and-quaaludes scene in “The Wolf of Wall Street”.

If you need some tips on how to win this game, here’s a big one: don’t try too hard. Including this year, the 41-year-old has been nominated five times – previously losing out in 1994 (for a supporting role), 2005, 2007 and 2014.
