Filing a chargesheet in the case on Tuesday in a courtroom right here, the central company stated Sheena was murdered as a result of of her relationship with Rahul, son of Peter Mukerjea.

CBI had on November 19 arrested Peter Mukerjea after they found discrepancies in the statements provided by the media baron.
According to the charge-sheet running into around 500 pages, both Peter and Indrani during a conversation with their friend Prithul Sanghvi, had said that “this relationship is not correct”.
Mumbai: CBI on Tuesday filed a charge sheet in a court in Mumbai against former media baron Peter Mukerjea, arrested in connection with the Sheena Bora murder case.
This is the second chargesheet filed by the CBI in the case.
Meanwhile, a statement of a key witness, detailing Peter’s alleged role in the conspiracy, was submitted to the court in a sealed envelope today.
Sheena (24) was allegedly strangled in a auto by Indrani on April 24, 2012; her body was later burnt and dumped in a forest in the adjoining Raigad district. The duo exchanged messages as nicely on the stated date.
The charge sheet states that the seeds of the murder are embedded in the attempts by Peter and his wife Indrani to separate Sheena and Rahul, who were live-in partners.
Sheena was Indrani’s daughter from her first husband Siddhartha Das. Indrani again spoke to Peter for 924 seconds after Sheena’s body was disposed of the next day.
Sheena was working with Mumbai Metro before she went missing in April 2012.
Since their arrest on August 25 a year ago from Mumbai and Kolkata, Indrani, Khanna and Rai have remained in police or judicial custody even as the CBI continues its probe.
“During investigation, a medical board minutely examined the skeleton as well as conducted superimposition of the skull which established the identity of the deceased…investigations further has established the role of the four accused in the case”, official sources said.

In the charge sheet, CBI has also detailed a comparison of money given to Sheena and Vidhie (Indrani’s daughter with co-accused Khanna) from 2005 to 2007, which suggested that Vidhie got more money.
