This year, our guess is that CBS did not want to air the music awards show on Valentine’s Day, and this was an easy way to remedy that. This early show will be available at grammy.com/live and on CBS.com. A number of awards are being given out now in a pre-show event, including an early trophy for Taylor Swift.

CBS said the Grammys viewership was the largest audience for any entertainment program this season. One thing that was completely omitted from CBS All Access’ on-demand re=broadcast however, was every aspect of Gwen Stefani’s ground breaking, live to tape music video debut of her new single, “Make Me Like You”. CBS, being a slow-moving old-school behemoth of a corporation, is painfully behind on making All Access available on more than a select few set-top box and game console platforms. It can be downloaded for use on smartphones in addition to devices like Amazon Fire and Apple TV.
