As the investigation progressed, 18-year-old Malachi Love-Robinson was named a person of interest after it was revealed he had been investigated and cited by Department of Health for practicing medicine without a license in October of 2015.

Malachi Love-Robinson is shown in a booking photo released by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Feb. 16, 2016.

A South Florida teen was arrested Tuesday and charged with practicing medicine without a license after allegedly setting up a fake medical practice and passing himself off as having a Ph.D.

According to the Palm Beach Post, 18-year-old Malachi Love-Robinson, of West Palm Beach, was arrested after police conducted an undercover investigation at his medical office in the West Palm Medical Plaza at 4700 N. Congress Avenue.

The teen also has a page on Healthgrades.com in which he claims to be 25 years old with his specialties being naturopathy, psychology and mental health.

“I never thought it would happen in this building”, says oncologist Dr. Allen Schultz, whose clinic occupies the same floor and thought Suite 303 was empty until a couple of weeks ago. Even the building’s directory board said that the teen has a doctoral degree along with other certifications.

However, police say his medical “career” ended abruptly on Tuesday when the fake doctor treated a fake patient who turned out to be an undercover Palm Beach Narcotics Task Force agent.

“All of a sudden I saw the name on the door there”. It also issued the suspect a number of citations, as well as a cease-and-desist order last Tuesday.

The woman told investigators that she asked Love-Robinson to put her purse back in her house as she was being put into an ambulance. His business is called “New Birth New Life Holistic and Alternative Medical Center & Urgent Care”.
