Had no talks with Mourinho: Van Gaal
Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has admitted he wouldn’t expect his friend Jose Mourinho to tell him about any negotiations going on with the club regarding next season.

Despite his unsuccessful stint at the club Moyes’ defended his decision to take the job stating,”If you go to Manchester United, that’s what you get”.
Manchester United are dangerously out of contention for a top-4 finish and the only possibility of securing a place in the Champions League next season is by winning the Europa League.
While Van Gaal has had to shoulder the majority of the blame from media and fans, Rooney said the players have simply underperformed.
“You can easily say ‘ okay, the other way’ – but also you have to show your capacity, in every match, you have to show it and we didn’t do that today”.
It was a hard game to come into and although Anthony Martial drew United level after Wahbi Khazri’s early opener, Sunderland won thanks to a late own goal by David de Gea.
Van Gaal’s relationship with the media has grown increasingly strained in recent months as speculation over his future has increased.
“These kind of matches you have to win and I said that in advance”.
The Premier League’s top four all play on Sunday (Monday NZT), with leaders Leicester City at third-placed Arsenal before fourth-placed Manchester City host second-placed Tottenham Hotspur.
“And then the Europa League, it would be great if we can win that”. They had more aggression than us and we could not cope with that aggression and we don’t keep the ball in our possession.
Old Trafford officials still refuse to comment on claims that former Chelsea and Real Madrid boss Mourinho is set to become their new manager for next season, Van Gaal has been forced to claim it’s not true. “We have to create chances and win games and we haven’t done that enough this season”.
