Brandt Snedeker returns to defend his title at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am this week but world number one Jordan Spieth is the headline act. Every seat taken. The room, as one reporter put it in a question to Australian star Jason Day, who only won the PGA Championship past year and is ranked No. 3 world-wide, was “heaving” for Spieth and half-empty for him.

He does everything really well, but he is phenomenal with the putter.
