Ryan Reynolds interviews Hugh Jackman at ‘Eddie the Eagle’ junket

By comparison, Marvel’s PG-13-rated The Avengers, the most financially successful comic book movie of all time with a global box office surpassing .5 billion, has a 92% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a 8.1 rating on IMDB.

Marvel’s Deadpool, the first rated-R venture in the franchise, breaks away from studs in Spandex and traditional hero archetypes and explores its darker, more humorous nature.

What the movie gains from its outlandish hero, it dips off a tad with the story. In these materials (released on Imgur by Ray Chaos) Fox state that they anticipate Wolverine 3 to come with an R-rating.

“Wolverine 3” is looking at an R rating following the huge success of Fox’s first R-rated standalone superhero film, “Deadpool”, which broke numerous records and raked in $150 million over the four-day Presidents Day weekend.

Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are both handsome, and charismatic, and talented, and married to lovely women. Because of this, superhero movie lovers also experience a feeling of self-awareness; their favorite genre can be playfully prodded at with accurate but humorous critiques.

The Ryan Reynolds-headlined comic book adaptation embraced the quirk factor and audiences in turn embraced the film.

Deadpool’s co-creator Rob Liefeld, who was also present, told Kinberg that statement would “become a headline”, prompting Kinberg to qualify that X-Force won’t necessarily be R-rated, but it’s a possibility. Yes, but when you’re the producer of the X-Force movie, it’s your imagination that makes these things happen. This sets into motion his movie-long pursuit of the sadistic doctor (Game Of Thrones’ Ed Skrein as Hulked Out Jude Law, basically) who molded him into Deadpool.

Deadpool is now playing in theaters.

Reynolds, whose “Deadpool” was released on Friday, asked Jackman about their roles in “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”. It’s refreshing to see Jackman joke about the failed origin story, since he’s generally careful discussing the more disappointing X-Men pictures, although he’s admitted Origins didn’t deliver for fans.
