The source also mentioned that the Galaxy S7 comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow preinstalled, and sports an IP68 or IP67 rating. It will be interesting to watch if Samsung will bring back waterproofing and expandable memory card slot, features it made a decision to ditch in the Galaxy S6 back to the S7.
According to the International Business Times, in contrary to the iOS updates on the iPhone, the Android update is not pumped out directly by Google, as it is by Apple for iOS.
The renders of the Galaxy S7 smartphones have been leaked by famous leakster Evan Blass, more commonly known in the technology industry by his Twitter handle @evleaks. Samsung has long offered wireless charging through the Qi system, which uses a charging pad.
Samsung Galaxy S7 could be a waterproof phone if one were to go by the latest video. With no further ado, you can take a look at the images of the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge Spigen cases. Rumors have also suggested the iPhone 7 will include improved water resistance.
Moreover, it introduces some new edge screen features for Galaxy S6 edge.
With the launch of the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge just around the corner, Samsung doesn’t want S6 owners to feel like they’ve been forgotten.
