Thunder trades for Randy Foye
Foye is in the a year ago of his current contract, though, so potentially losing him in free agency when they could get at least a little something now might not be desirable. His career scoring average is 11 points per game. Novak is an afterthought as he hardly appears off the bench, but Augustin was a solid backup and two draft picks (despite being low due to how good OKC are) still seems like a lot to lose for someone like Foye – who’s hardly going to revolutionize their backcourt over someone like Dion Waiters. According to Wojnarowski, Denver is looking for a third team to take on Novak’s contract, which is paying him $3.75 million and is expiring after this season.

Foye played for both Brian Shaw and Michael Malone while in Denver. After averaging 7.3 points in 24.2 minutes per game for the Thunder previous year, Augustin’s numbers shrank to 4.2 points in 15.3 minutes per game this season.
The Thunder will send point guard D.J.
Here are Foye’s shooting splits by month, from Basketball Reference.com.
December and February saw Foye’s minutes increase, along with his production, as Mudiay missed 10 games in December and Jameer Nelson has missed all of the team’s six contests in February.

I won’t soon forget Foye’s time in Denver. Augustin is shooting 38 percent from the field and 39.3 percent from three-point range this season and will come off the books this summer. But off the floor, Foye has been a tremendous person and professional for the Nuggets.
