Chris Brown was slated to perform at the New Year’s Eve concert in Philippine Arena last December 31 but was forced to cancel his appearance due to “unforeseen circumstances”.

Boasting several chart-topping hits under his belt, Brown’s Manila concert will be part of a promotional tour for his seventh studio album, “X”.

This is after the Department of Justice (DOJ) issued an immigtation lookout bulletin against the American artist.

(MDC) requesting assistance from the Department of Justice “for the successful prosecution of the criminal complaint which MDC is lodging”.

The memo stated that complainants Glicerio P. Santos IV, Head Legal Counsel of Iglesia ni Cristo and Chief Operating Officer of Maligaya Development Corporation, said Brown and Pio Roda continuously refuse to return the amounts of money that was paid to them.

The 26-year-old controversial R&B superstar will be headlining a solo concert for the first time in the Philippines later Tuesday at the Mall of Asia Arena. “If the concerned agency raises no objection to the departure, then we will allow the subject to leave”, the BI official said.
