Based on the failures of quarterbacks recently drafted by this team, fans may not want to take such a risk.

“I’m not anxious about it”, Goff said. It’s still possible as the pre-draft process unfolds for Wentz and/or Lynch to make a run at Goff’s top spot, but when the dust settles, Goff is the cleanest, safest prospect who still has ceiling left.
