Riteish Deshmukh : We Are Not Expecting Bangistan Movie To Cross 100 Crore
But when we do Bangistan, we’re not expecting the film to touch Rs 100 crores because for this film to be successful, it doesn’t need to reach that figure.

Bangistan is about two suicide bombers, Hafeez Bin Ali/ Ishwarchand Sharma (Riteish) and Allah Rakha Khan/ Praveen Chaturvedi (Pulkit), who’ve been brainwashed into an explosive mission but eventually realise the death wish is futile exercise. This team is not expecting the movie to hit even lower mark i.e. 100 crores.
“‘Housefull”, “Dhamaal”, “Masti” were physical comedies having slapstick and loud humour but “Bangistan’ is poker face”, Riteish told IANS. “100 crore mark is not necessary for every film to be successful”. Every film has a budget and a certain target audience in mind and the Rs.
Conceptualised by Shuddh Desi raps, the song will have Riteish Deshmukh and Pulkit Samrat play Saddam Hussein and Osama Bin Laden’s avatars in the video… Jacqueline Fernandez is playing a cameo role in the film.
Bangistan, presented by Junglee Pictures and Excel Entertainment, releases July 31. Riteish Deshmukh and Pulkit Samrat, the leading heroes of the film, are visiting city to city to promote the comedy movie.
