The Florida winners of part of the largest-ever Powerball jackpot have revealed themselves to the public.

“The Florida Lottery is all about creating winning moments and giving people the chance to fulfill their dreams”, Florida Lottery Secretary Tom Delacenserie said.
The holders of one of the three winning tickets from last month’s Powerball jackpot are set to collect their money.
When it comes to spending the money, Kaltschmidt plans to retire after working as a manufacturing engineer for 34 years.
The couple opted to take a single lump-sum payment of $327.8 million before taxes.
Their ticket was one of three that matched all the numbers, making each ticket worth about $528.8 million. Smith says she’s been randomly buying $3 Powerball tickets for the last 30 years, and although she doesn’t play often, she always plays the same numbers.
Kaltschmidt said he has lost 10 pounds in the past month because of sleepless nights but the jackpot won’t change his day-to-day life.
Later, Kaltschmidt said he wants a new truck, and Smith wants a massage – two things they can certainly afford now.
Kaltschmidt said they only told their immediate family of their winnings just last week.
A winning ticket in the January 13 drawing with a grand prize of almost $1.6 billion was sold at a Melbourne Beach, Fla., Publix Supermarket. “I looked online to make sure they were correct”. That’s the case in nearly every state, to provide transparency and to help the lottery: Having a live person holding a check confirms, that, yes, people like you and I really do win.
“We’re no longer in a quiet place, which I’m going to miss”, Smith said at the press conference.
