Who needs strippers? U2 and Jon Bon Jovi crash girl’s hen party
A bride-to-be got the surprise of a lifetime when she invited Bono, The Edge and Bon Jovi to join her hen party – and they said yes. In a new interview, he and his wife said that they prefer Bon Jovi to Springsteen. At first, Mary Pat agonized over which one to pick. “Their music or their person?”

Politically, Bon Jovi has expressed a preference for Hillary Clinton.
Christie’s June 30 candidacy announcement began with a blast of Bon Jovi’s “We Weren’t Born to Follow” as he made his way to a makeshift stage in the middle of a gymnasium at Livingston High School.
It’s a bit of a flip-flop for the governor, who has for years bragged about having attended 130 Springsteen concerts since 1975.
Samantha Smith, a spokeswoman for Christie’s 2016 campaign, said at the time that governor did not reach out to Springsteen, a famed liberal, to use his songs. When given the choice of ice cream – Baskin Robbins or Ben and Jerry’s – it was a split vote with Mary Pat choosing Baskin Robbins “because I worked there” and Christie going with Ben and Jerry’s for a specific flavor.
