Entry-level Asus ZenFone 2E blisses out on AT&T’s GoPhone roster

Considering the list of decent specifications, $119.99 for the off-contract price of the phone really isn’t too bad at all.

For that amount of cash, you get a 5-inch 720p IPS touchscreen, an 8 MP rear camera with LED flash, a 2 MP selfie shooter, and a 2,500 mAh battery. The phone comes with both a black and white cover, which we imagine will be just as hard to remove as on the ZenFone 2.

Powering the show, you’ll find a dual-core Intel Atom processor with 8GB of internal storage and microSD card support up to 64GB.

The price is the real selling point on the ASUS Zenfone 2E, as it will retail for $119.99. “The ASUS ZenFone 2E embodies our philosophy of empowering luxury for everyone”, says Benson Lin, corporate vice president and general manager for mobile communications, ASUS.

Asus recently released its high-end Zenfone 2 smartphone, one of the few coming with 4GB of RAM right out of the box. The ASUS ZenFone 2E is available now from Walmart and Target stores in the US and will be in AT&T locations starting July 24 (this Friday). Best Buy will also begin carrying the Zenfone 2E on August 2, giving you a range of places to purchase from.

It is offered by the carrier’s GoPhone prepaid brand.
