Police are investigating an early morning shooting Friday that took place near The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

The happened after a fight on the third floor of a garage at about 1.20am local time, KVVU reported.
Two cars left the Miracle Mile Shops, heading west on West Harmon Avenue, police said. Another woman was found lying in the middle of the street with a gunshot wound; she also died at the same hospital.
Police apparently have video of the fight and confirmed the vehicle that drove into the Cosmopolitan was involved. McGrath said no one is in custody in connection with the case.

Police asked people to avoid the area during the investigation.

The Clark County coroner will release name and ages of women after relatives have been notified.
The shooting came just days after a similar incident nearby on Tropicana Avenue.

Lt. Dan McGrath with Las Vegas Metro police confirmed a total of three people had been shot. The shopping center is attached to the Planet Hollywood but is operated by Miracle Mile Shops.
