South Carolina Rep. Jim Clyburn Endorses Hillary Clinton
As the Democratic presidential candidates make their closing arguments before Nevada Democrats caucus on Saturday, Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT) shakes hands with audience members after speaking at a campaign rally on February 8, 2016 in Durham, New Hampshire. Clinton won more than 12,000 of Polk County’s votes, which made up about 17 percent of her total count. “And I believe that the future of the Democratic Party and the United States of America will be best served with the experiences and know-how of Hillary Clinton as our 45th president”.

These party leaders and elected officials can change their minds. That is a gain of 10 percentage points for Sanders from a January version of the poll.
On Saturday, Clinton and Sanders face off in what has become a hotly contested race in Nevada, where Clinton’s lead has narrowed.
The Springfield and Holyoke offices will organize canvasses through minority neighborhoods, where Clinton is counting on strong support.
Speaking with CNN’s Jake Tapper Friday on “The Lead”, Clyburn swatted away a claim from Sanders that Clinton was hugging President Barack Obama closely in order to win over the black community, pointing instead to Clinton’s long history of advocating for black voters and the disadvantaged. Their message isn’t subtle, or always welcome.
“For some people that may be kind of boring, promise the moon, go after everybody, but for me that’s how you actually make a difference in people’s lives”, said Clinton, who later met with a family to discuss the state’s solar industry.
“Well, with all due respect, they fight against the establishment every single day, and I’ve been with them for years, and I will pass the Equality Act, too”. But it also reveals a human truth, the cuddle and the comfort that Hillary was able to show the young girl is unlikely to come about with any other candidate – yes, even Bernie Sanders. Once all participants have indicated their choice, the candidates are assigned delegates from that precinct proportionally. They alleged that the process is rigged in favor of Clinton. Obama lost the popular vote to Clinton in the 2008 contest here but the quirky nature of the caucus enabled him to emerge with one more delegate than Clinton. Sanders has added just 11 superdelegate endorsements. Plus, compared with Iowa and New Hampshire, which have already voted, there’s been very little polling in Nevada.
Nonwhite Democrats are more likely than white Democrats to say Clinton is honest and likable, and slightly more likely to describe her as inspiring.
Ill be voting (on March 1), and Ive chose to vote for Bernie Sanders, Welch told Bob Kinzel of Vermont Public Radio.
Pelley: You know in ’76 Jimmy Carter famously said, “I will not lie to you”. Clinton gets 44 percent, down from 49 percent a month ago. Three have endorsed Clinton and another is undecided. We obviously talk about immigration, but that’s not the number one priority for – at least that I’ve seen with the Latino demographic.
“I am going to be knocking on as many doors as many doors as I can knock on and making as many calls as I can”, Mark Murphy, a Hillary supporter.
