NJ brother brought to tears by sister’s surprise hamster gift
I asked her what she wanted to do with her money and she says, “I want to surprise Daniel and buy him his hamster”. We got it home, set it up and she couldn’t wait for him to get home from his sleepover so he could be surprised and meet and name his hamster.

When Abby’s parents added up her birthday money and gift cards, she had $55 total. “Are you crying, cause I am”, Abigail says.
According to a Facebook post, Abby Stout got a hamster as a pet and that’s when her brother, Daniel, decided he wanted one too. She asks if he is happy crying and all Daniel can do is nod and cough.
Online, their mom said Daniel started doing a bunch of chores around the house so he could collect enough allowance to buy a hamster of his own.
And Rachel made sure she got the adorable reveal on video, filming as Daniel returns home and Abby immediately grabs his hand as he walks through the door.
“Then as I was painting her toenails, Dan (her father) mentioned how she could have gotten a pedicure with her money (which we’ve done once and she loved) and she said plain as day, ‘I don’t care, I wanted to do something nice for my brother, ‘” she wrote.
His younger sibling saw the effort her big brother was making and told her mum she had a plan.
“I asked a few more times if she was sure, that it was her birthday money and she could do whatever she wanted with it”. Daniel has named his Cubby, while Abby’s is called Keke.
“Are you crying?” Abby asks before she says, “because I am”.
And this is where the viral video begins.
Their mother, Rachel Stout, posted the video on Facebook Monday and as of Saturday afternoon it had been shared by more than 46,000 people and viewed more than 2.3 million times.

“My children love to do nice things for each other, but it still amazes me and brings me so much joy when I witness their awesome connection and love for each other”, mom Rachel Stout told INSIDE EDITION.
