Lotito: ‘Anderson-United for €60m’
Manchester United have agreed to buy Lazio midfielder Felipe Anderson for a fee of €60million (£47million) the president of the Italian club has let slip.

There hasn’t be much for Manchester United fans to shout about lately.
According to Lotito, Anderson will be on the move at the end of the season, but Lazio have rebuffed claims from their president.
“In reference to statements attributed to president Claudio Lotito regarding the alleged sale of the player Felipe Anderson, SS Lazio specifies that these are devoid of any foundation”, a Lazio statement read.
Lazio refused to do business at the time but United have continued to keep a close eye on the 22-year-old with speculation once again linking the Red Devils during the January transfer window.

Anderson made 24 league appearances for the Biancocelesti this season, scoring six goals.
Lazio’s sporting director Igli Tare has discussed the club turning down a €50m move for Anderson from United over the summer, telling press just last week: ” We have to make a complete analysis when making decisions, both on an economic and sporting level”.

With this in mind, you can’t blame some of them for getting a little bit excited at the news that the club had secured the services of a new player… even if that player was a Brazilian named Anderson.
