Attacking the Centre, Gandhi said: “Across the country, whether in JNU, HCU or FTII, students are being bullied and threatened, for holding views contrary to the ruling dispensation”. Meanwhile, BJP MLA from Barmer Kailash Choudhary called Gandhi a “traitor” and said he should be hanged and shot for backing “anti-national” students of JNU.
“This mindset killed Gandhiji, this mindset killed Hyderabad University student Rohith Vemula, this mindset killed several innocent people in Gujarat, this mindset killed Akhlaq in Dadri and this mindset killed several innocent people in Muzaffarnagar”, said Ojha. The comment had incited many youths, including him, to indulge in violence and action must be initiated against them for their criminal act. “This is height of the Congress’s intolerance”, he said.
“When the slogan is “Pakistan zindabad” then Mr. Rahul Gandhi should know that this slogan is not a slogan of Bharatiya Janata party but it is against the country”.
