Chris Brown confused about why he’s stuck in Philippines

The video shows him saying: “Can somebody please tell me what the fuck is going on?”

Manila airport authorities said his private jet sat at a hangar on Thursday.

In a second post, Brown raised both hands in the air and said: “I didn’t do nothing”.

Chris Brown has been barred from leaving the Philippines.

Brown’s failure to show up for a New Year’s Eve concert at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan Province led a Filipino concert promoter to seek the help of the Department of Justice’s Immigration Bureau over the contract dispute, reports CNN.

The singer cancelled a New Year’s Eve concert at the 55,000-seat Philippine Arena at the last minute, reportedly because he lost his passport the day before the scheduled event.

In an uploaded clip on Instagram, a perplexed Brown was seen in a video seemed to be recorded inside a hotel room. He has not applied for the emigration clearance he needs to be allowed to leave the country.

State prosecutors are investigating the complaint.

He then break-danced in front of a giant flat screen television showing computer games.

Although a minority in the Philippines where 80% of its 100 million people are Catholics, the Iglesia ni Cristo wields considerable political clout.

A spokesperson for Brown told The Independent the incident was a “misunderstanding” and said he will fly out to Hong Kong today.

“The singer, who is no stranger to trouble, has performances scheduled in Hong Kong, Cyprus, and Indonesia”.

The Brown saga was just the latest incidence of foreign entertainers riling conservative religious groups in the devoutly Catholic Philippines, a former Spanish and American colony.

Both Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson had to pay 200,000 peso ($4,500) each in bonds in March, before One Direction were allowed to perform in Manila, because they were known to have used marijuana in the past.

Brown was sentenced to five years probation, a year-long domestic-violence programme and 180 days of community labour. He entered rehab in 2013 to “gain insight into his past and recent behavior”, his representative said, only to get kicked out of the facility for smashing his mother’s auto window during a family session, according to his probation officer.
