A Collectible Set of 3 is also available which will feature the two aforementioned characters plus a special Ant-Man (Black Out Version) that is only available in this set. Michael Douglas and Evangeline Lilly are both more than a match for Rudd’s charisma and play their roles well. However, Lang needs needs help with the heist, so he enlists his crew of misfits (Michael Peña, David Dastmalchian and T.I.) to assist with the break-in.

The film begins with a flashback of a S. H.I.
Pym still has the top-secret suit that squeezes Scott down to insect size and back to human proportions at the push of a button. Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, master thief Scott Lang (Rudd) must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym (Douglas), protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Ant-Man is such a unique superhero character and it will be interesting to see how they tie him into Captain America: Civil War. A good portion of the comedy can be attributed to Rudd, whose dry humor is such that he hardly ever smiles, yet constantly creates laughs, and everyone in the cast has their moment. She’s also a founding member of the Avengers and a key component of the team moving forward.
Critics have seen it and majority are saying that Edgar Wright, the director formerly attached to helm this film, could have done a better job compared to its current director Peyton Reed. “That was appealing. Instead of going bigger, let’s literally go smaller”, Reed said.
The movie gives it own twist and timeline to how the hero is related to the Avengers.
“This is the first time, it’s the first thing I’ve ever done, ever, that he is like legitimately jazzed about”.
One of the surprises for me is how good the original score by Composer Christophe Beck (FROZEN, THE PEANUTS MOVIE) is. “It delivers a lighter tone, and really succeeds with inventive action sequences that play well to a younger audience because they’re imaginative and just straight-up amusing”. Now we want to hear your opinion!
At this point, you’re probably saying, “Why do I care if this movie has an emotional core?”
That said, Ant-Man does have some characters who stick in your mind and win your heart: the ants. But, enough about the movie: it’s the mid- and end-credits scenes that will have everyone talking. As a fan of the Marvel series, I was slightly baffled when they announced Ant-Man years ago as he never seemed like a strong stand-alone character.

Much like last summer’s Marvel film “Guardians of the Galaxy”, “Ant-Man” steps out of the studio’s more recent trend of global catastrophe and plotlines that make you feel like you’re riding a roller coaster.
