There’s A Petition To Let Deadpool Host Saturday Night Live
The petition is absolutely right, there are endless possibilities when you have a completely subversive, meta character such as Deadpool hosting 90-minutes of comedy.

In the video, an expletive-filled pseudo rant, Ryan Reynolds’ voice plays out as if it was recorded unofficially, and without his knowledge.
By now, you’ve heard of (and probably signed) the petition to have Deadpool – the character, not necessarily actor Ryan Reynolds without the costume – host Saturday Night Live. Dergarabedian called the results “unprecedented”, especially with an R rated movie. “Are they f-king insane?” he concludes.
Instead of calling out Taylor Swift like Kanye, Reynolds/ Deadpool just goes off on “SNL”, saying that the show stole his “Life of Pablo” album.
In an expletive heavy rant he also notes that he’s 50 per cent more influential than MC Hammer, Apostle Judas Iscariot, the KIA Sorrento and 10 per cent more influential than Barbara Bush, The Muppets and Bob Newhart. “60 percent more influential than the iPhone 5, shredded cheese and Dr. Ruth, 7 percent less influential than the Urban Dictionary”. Take your pick of reasons that would never happen, but now Deadpool has given an official response, dragging Kanye West’s recent backstage tirade into the mix. “Now I’m bummed. That and R.I.P. Taylor”.
The petition was started on Change.org by Deadpool fan Andrew Stege, who presented a pretty strong (if gramatically unsound) case for why the merc with the mouth would make a suitable SNL host.

Things have clearly gotten out of hand with Deadpool, the long-gestating Marvel adaptation that devastated the North American box office last weekend and looks to do something similar this coming weekend.
