While the original main card for UFC on FOX 16 was one for the ages, we are still left with a pretty rock-solid lineup.

If there’s one thing that UFC bantamweight champ TJ Dillashaw has made clear throughout the countless interviews and media appearances to promote this weekend’s rematch with Renan Barao, it’s his desire to finally move past the seemingly endless rivalry that exists between himself and the Brazilian.
Both fighters are healthy heading into the UFC on FOX event this Saturday. Tate has been a former champion in Strikeforce and fought for the title two other times in the UFC. This rematch has been scheduled twice before but hasn’t occurred for various reasons, Barao struggling to make weight at UFC 177 and then a broken rib suffered by Dillashaw.
A few months later, officials again locked up Dillashaw and Barao, as they were announced for UFC 186.
Dillashaw remained in the headline bout that night, storming through former Bellator champion Joe Soto and earning his first title defense.
In the first episode of the Embedded series for UFC on Fox 16, we see Team Alpha Male’s Dillashaw working his striking with Master Thong before getting some words of encouragement from fellow UFC bantamweight Chris Holdsworth.

The show also features bantamweights Miesha Tate and Jessica Eye, who will throw down in the co-headliner.
