Céline Dion returns to the stage in Las Vegas after Angélil’s death

When Dion returns to the stage on Tuesday night at Caesars Colosseum for her first show since Angélil’s death, it will begin with a moving 10-minute tribute to her longtime love, a source confirms to ET. Now, the singer is returning to her residency in Las Vegas with a poignant tribute to her late beloved.

A little over a month ago, Celine Dion’s husband, René Angélil, died after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Dion’s return to the stage will be live streamed for fans around the world to watch. He was laid to rest at the Notre-Dame Basilica in Montreal, where he Wednesday Celine in 1984. She didn’t perform at the memorial event, but she thanked everyone for their support during such a hard time. “At the same time I’m supposed to feel extremely comfortable being home and right now I’m not sure how comfortable I feel. He loved life so much, so very much”.
