Details were sketchy, but the studios released one piece of concept art. Tokyo-based Silicon Studio said the art is from artist Kimihiko Fujisaka.

Mistwalker, the studio headed by Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi, and Silicon Studio, developer of Bravely Default have announced they’re working together on a new project.

“Final Fantasy” creator teams up with the studio responsible for “Bravely Default”. As of last April, development of the console release had already begun, with Sakaguchi saying that it wouldn’t simply be a port of the mobile game.

“We will inform you that you have to start the joint development of new game titles”. What do you hope to see come out of the work between the two studios?

Rumor has it that the game might be a console version of “Terra Battle”, which is only available on mobile phones at the moment. The artwork featured above was included with the press release from Silicon, but is also featured on Terra Battle’s downloadstarter page.
