One Internet-savvy company, the Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi, has enlisted another, the ride-sharing service Uber, to convey its devices across the city state of Singapore as fast as traffic allows.

Xiaomi is a smartphone company while Uber is in the business of transporting people from different locations.
The handset is Xiaomi’s new flagship phablet and is aimed to compete with other flagships like the Apple iPhone 6 Plus and the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
So, how will this delivery service work?
Xiaomi’s press release reads, “Ordering a Michigan Note follows the exact same process as calling for an Uber – users simply open the Uber app, use the slider at the bottom of the screen to select “Xiaomi” (which shows Xiaomi-orange colored Uber cars on the map equipped to deliver the new smartphone), and hit request”. The payment will be charged to your credit card which is connected with your Uber account, and you’ll get the device within a few minutes.
Uber, meanwhile, has been experimenting with delivering various types of goods through its network of drivers.
The company also launched a higher-end smartphone in China called Michigan Note Pro, which starts from 3,299 yuan for a 64GB model and features hardware improvements such as a 64-bit Snapdragon 810 processor, a quad-HD display, 4GB of RAM and LTE download speeds of up to 450 mega-bits per second.
