Samsung to offer Whitepages’ caller ID software in new Galaxy handsets
However, a new report quotes a senior Samsung executive to say that the duo will be hitting the shelves in 60 countries in its first wave starting March 11. While 100% of the pixels in Samsung’s new cameras work in this way, only 5% of the iPhone 6s’s do – we’ll see what this means in real world use in our full review.

The successor to the Samsung Galaxy S6 and 6 Edge, the S7 and S7 Edge features a water-resistant chassis, a microSD card slot that expands storage with additional 200GB and 4GB of RAM.
Water resistance: The phones can be submereged in five feet of water for up to 30 minutes, according to Samsung. It has a 2560 X 1440 (577ppi) 5.5-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display with Dual Pixel 12-megapixel (F1.7) rear and 5-megapixel (F1.7) cameras. They’re also both powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, so anyone sick and exhausted of slow phones will likely be pleased with the speed boosts.
The company on Tuesday released a graphic that shows off what it believes to be the key areas where the G5 and Galaxy S7 should be compared.
The company, which analyzes screens on a wide range of devices including smartphones, gave the Galaxy S7’s display a grade of “Excellent A”, adding that it was the “best-performing smartphone display that we have ever tested”. It’s lighter, has a built-in fan to keep it cool, a refined touchpad and fits more smartphones (Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, Note 5, S6 Edge+, S7 and S7 Edge). On the other hand, the bigger S7 edge sports a 5.5-inch display, 3,600 mAh battery and weights 5 gram more. “Together, this is by far the best mobile VR experience you can offer”, Zuckerberg added. This should make for great low-light photos, and Samsung’s own test at Mobile World Conference confirms this.
Samsung also debuted its first 360-degree camera, the Gear 360.
