In a victory speech, Mr Trump told a crowd of roaring supporters: “We’re winning, winning, winning the country, and soon the country is going to start winning, winning, winning”.

After Tuesday, the candidates wiromll face off at the next GOP presidential debate on CNN Thursday and then they’ll keep preparing for Super Tuesday next week in which 11 states will hold primaries and caucuses.
The battle between Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz for second place is still too close to call at the time of publication.
The remaining two candidates for the Republican presidential nomination, retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson and Ohio Governor John Kasich, lagged far behind in the single digits.
Trump heads into Super Tuesday next week, leading in the polls, and more importantly, leading in the delegate count. He came in second in Iowa.
A clear majority of those attending the Nevada caucuses want the next president to be from outside the political establishment, driving businessman Donald Trump to victory.
Although Nevada has relatively few delegates, it is the first measure of voter sentiment in the vast western region, much as SC was the first glimpse at the South’s preferences last weekend.
And candidates here are facing the most diverse electorate thus far in the race, more representative of the U.S. population as a whole.
In Nevada and other states, supporters say Trump is a strong leader and an “outsider” who will shake up the system when it comes to issues like the economy, foreign policy, and illegal immigration.
And he’s not expected to win in Nevada on Tuesday.
Rubio and Cruz have been attacking each other viciously in recent days, an indication they know Trump can be stopped only if one of them is eliminated.
His wins are a testament to his broad appeal among the angry voters making their voices heard in the election race. “Donald Trump and us”. Barring a complete surprise upset Tuesday night, Trump is expected to capitalize on any support he gets from Nevada and move on to pick up a large sum of delegates early next month.
“They want to get Cruz out and have Rubio go against Trump”. Despite the predicted low turnout, Dallek said Tuesday’s results will have far-reaching implications if Trump ends up as the victor. The Nevada Republican party said on Twitter that there have been “no official reports of voting irregularities or violations”.

At an event in Sparks, Nevada ahead of the caucuses, Trump was taking aim at his rivals, calling Cruz a “weak little baby” and the “best” liar he’d ever seen.
