Michael Jordan tells Klay Thompson to break Chicago Bulls’ 72-win record
Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry has become the best three-point shooter in recent years, but on Saturday his teammate Klay Thompson reminded everyone why he is among the best National Basketball Association shooters by winning the 2016 All-Star Three-Point contest in Toronto, Canada.

Thompson made it to the final round a year ago along with Kyrie Irving, but they were blown away when Curry made 13 straight shots and set a record with 27 points.
Klay Thompson believes, even if he knows many don’t. He went almost the length of the court, left just inside the foul line, put the ball through his legs and then dunked it. He also scored a 50 for throwing down a windmill after leaving from the foul line.
It’s probably a good thing Thompson triumphed if his pre-contest interview was anything to go on…
Golden State and San Antonio are the only two teams in the running for the No. #1 seed in the West and the oddsmakers overwhelming like the Warriors to secure that slot in the Western Conference playoff brackets over the next 30 games.
Minnesota rookie big man Karl-Anthony Towns won the Skills Challenge, beating out Celtics guard Isaiah Thomas in the final round.
The Final round was two you expected – the Splash Brothers – plus one few did, Suns rookie Devin Booker.
“Back-to-back years for Splash Brothers, it’s pretty cool”. “That’s fine. I’ll play the underdog for a night”.
Bosh pulled out of the All-Star Game and the three-point contest over the weekend because of what he and the Heat described as a calf strain. This has been a while in the making with the proliferation of the 3-point shot league-wide, a perceived lack of stars in the dunk contest, and the notable presence of stars in the long-range challenge.
When it comes to cherished, long-held records, Michael Jordan isn’t exactly the 1972 Miami Dolphins.
“I love the people and I love the city, so much love this weekend”, Curry said.
“I think I can win”, Towns said.
Rehab from a horrific broken shin bone suffered at Team USA camp in 2014 limited George to just six games last season.
This time, LaVine and Orlando’s Aaron Gordon matched up in a insane game of “can you top this?”, each one recording ideal score after flawless score.

The Golden State Warriors are representing the Bay Area in a HUGE WAY, all-the-time, but especially in this year’s NBA All-Star Festivities.
