Given this is the third consecutive year Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg has appeared at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, his evening keynote session is no longer a case of Daniel walking into the lion’s den.

Making a strong pitch for more competition in offering Internet services, Vodafone Group chief Vittorio Colao has spoken his mind on Facebook’s Free Basics, saying it was helping just “one dominant player” in India.

Zuckerberg also stated that more than half of the world’s population (more than 4 billion people) does not have internet access.

Mr. Zuckerberg made an appearance Sunday night at Samsung’s conference announcement. “We believe in encryption”, Zuckerberg said, according to Recode. This Facebook team will work in conjunction with the VR team of Samsung and Oculus in order to explore the future of social interactions in Virtual reality.
