Following last week’s trailer teaser, those lovely lot at Lionsgate UK have finally unleashed Katniss Everdeen in full form with the theatrical trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2.
Jennifer Lawrence’s Katniss Everdeen rallies the districts into action as she prepares to take on the regime that has seen her lose those closest to her. “Turn your weapons to Snow”, referring to Donald Sutherland’s villainous President Snow.
A first trailer for the film was officially released on June 9, leaving us wanting even more – so thankfully the cast blessed us with a bigger sneak peek today! Snow is waiting for them, with his own plans of tearing the world down before the good guys can capture his stronghold.
“If you end all of this, all those deaths… they mean something”, Peeta tells Katniss. (No more white roses, Snow, thanks!).
The full-length trailer for the last film in the “The Hunger Games” franchise dropped Thursday (June 23) and by the looks of things, “Mockingjay – Part 2” won’t disappoint.
The past three Hunger Games have been box office smashes, beloved by fans of Suzanne Collins’ book trilogy and movie lovers alike.
