Street Fighter V Battle Lounges still not ‘functioning as intended’, says Capcom

Most definitely, fans believe that “Street Fighter 5” has two major short comings but it doesn’t mean that it is any less a good game. Crisan stated that Capcom will continue working on the matchmaking for “Ranked” and “Casual” matches, citing the server maintenance that they did this week and expect players to have a quicker search for an opponent. Players will slow connections will be accommodated and Capcom hopes that it will shorten the queues.

“The team is looking into adding an Arcade Mode and we’ll have more information to share soon”, the spokesperson commented.

Battle Lounges will also be seeing some improvements, with the issue of players getting disconnected while being in a Battle Lounge being fixed. No further details about the Arcade Mode were divulged.

A much deeper story mode has been promised to be delivered later in the summer, but Capcom has said nothing about a traditional Arcade Mode.

Street Fighter is a fighting game franchise that has solidified itself as the prime candidate for competitive fighting tournaments.

Street Fighter V’s servers were taken down again earlier today for the second time in less than one week. The short single-player story mode might also get sliders to adjust difficulty, Forbes reported. Alex will be added to the roster next month as the first DLC character in the series along with Guile, Balrog, Juri, Ibuki and Urien. What I mean is that when Capcom wanted to make big changes to the game, they didn’t simply do so by issuing a patch or an update, they released a whole new game, usually retailing around $40-$50.
