Freedom 251 is an Android phone with Lollipop 5.1.
Also, the phone is being speculated to be a rebranded version of the the Adcom Ikon 4, which seems to have similar specs as the Freedom 251. Freedom 251 is the brainchild of Ringing Bells Pvt. Ltd. The company is getting support from the Indian government as it will comply to the Make in India, Digital India and Skill India programs. Though the device is made of plastic and at the back there’s an imprint of Indian flag with “FREEDOM 251” written at the bottom portion making it unique.
Ringing Bells had also offered the cheapest 4G smartphone last month, priced at Rs 2,999, deliveries of which will begin by February 25.
