The release of the Lumia 650 marks Microsoft’s latest attempt to become a dominant player in the smartphone market.

Microsoft Lumia 650, company’s latest mid-budget Windows 10 smartphone has been announced. Blended with sophisticated design and functional features, Lumia 650 provides users with the best of Microsoft’s productivity and security, all wrapped in a lovely slim package. “It also features an 8 MP rear camera (featuring Rich Capture), a 5 MP front camera, a 5” 720p AMOLED display, and 16 GB of internal storage, making it a fairly premium phone, with the exception of the chipset. The Lumia 620 features a 5-inch OLED display, weighs 122 gms and is 6.9 mm thick. The handset is equipped with a 16GB of inbuilt storage that can be expandable storage up to 200GB Via microSD card. Various leaks and rumors on the Microsoft Lumia 650 have surfaced online. As a successor to Windows Phone, Windows 10 Mobile is tightly aligned with its broader Windows 10 operating system (OS) for PCs, as the company looks to unify platforms with a single OS.
The Snapdragon 212 is in charge of powering Windows 10 (but no Continuum), and its quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU clocked at 1.3GHZ – the sole difference to the S210 in the Lumia 550.
It has been released for select European markets and will start selling from February 18.
There were rumours of a new Windows 10 Mobile handset from Microsoft in mid-January, and those rumours have now been confirmed. It features all major connectivity options such as 4G LTE, 2G, 3G, Bluetooth v4.1, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, and GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, Beidou in addition to an FM radio receiver. Note that the Lumia 650 DualSIM is already listed on the company’s official website for India without pricing and availability details.

The Microsoft Lumia 650, comes in matte white or black and is now available in selected countries in Europe, with no call on USA availability.
