Rise of the Tomb Raider PC and PS4 Release Coming in 2016
That there’s now a rough release window for other platforms feels like it detracts from that effect.

The company has confirmed the PC version of the game will arrive in “early 2016”, while console exclusivity will last for a year. A PlayStation 4 release will follow sometime during the 2016 holiday season.
This comes as a huge relief to players who began Lara Croft’s rebooted adventures in 2013’s Tomb Raider, and then were frustrated to find that the sequel would be an Xbox exclusive.
The first true portion of gameplay was shown at this year’s E3 press briefing, giving fans a glimpse into how Rise of the Tomb Raider both looks and handles before its holiday launch.
Following the insanely confusing release announcement for Rise of the Tomb Raider, Square Enix has finally announced today exactly when the upcoming Lara Croft focused romp will be coming to PC and PlayStation 4, and you may have a bit of a wait on your hands. Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics were quiet on the topic, merely saying that the exclusivity was temporary, but now we have all of the details. Also, no information has been given regarding the options that PC users will have in terms of tweaking graphics, though that will likely come out closer to launch.
It is pertinent to mention here that this is only a timed exclusive and a PS4 version will be released later. However, NX Gamer has not edited his comments on the analysis video and apologized for his mistake on Rise of the Tomb Raider’s resolution. You’ll have an entire year to wait.
