Steph Curry ties National Basketball Association record for three-pointers streak

The Warriors’ victory in the clash of divisional leaders saw the National Basketball Association pacesetters improve to 51-5, while the Heat’s lead in the Southeast Division trimmed to 1-1/2 games. Reminiscent of how the Detroit Pistons beat them, the Miami Heat played a rough-and-tumble defense that knocked the Warriors out of their rhythm.

Warriors point guard Stephen Curry scored 42 points, and shooting guard Klay Thompson added 33 points, including 15 straight in the fourth quarter.

That night, Ilyasova scored 10 points, grabbed eight rebounds and blocked two shots. He has made at least one in 202 of his past 203 games, and is on pace to smash the single-season record for three-pointers he established a year ago.

They’re not saying so, but if I know these Warriors players, they’re already preparing themselves for the challenge of it-they love these historic challenges.

“Steph has incredible take-over ability”, Thompson said of Curry.

“Not a whole lot to say after that one”, Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said.

Westbrook also had 13 assists and seven rebounds as the Thunder scored the first 15 points of the fourth quarter and weathered a 14-0 Dallas run to avoid matching a season high with a third straight loss in their first game since a blowout defeat at home against Cleveland. I felt like we were right there. They held Golden State to 35 percent shooting in the first quarter, leading by as many as 12 in the early going.

The rigors of a long road trip have tested the almighty Golden State Warriors, but Steph Curry seems unfazed.

Curry lead all scorers with 42 points, including the go-ahead 3-pointer with 39.3 seconds left, supported by 33 points from Warriors “Splash Brothers” backcourt partner Klay Thompson.

Warriors: Golden State now leads the all-time series against the Heat, 28-27….

Memphis’ Matt Barnes scored a season-high 25 points as the Grizzlies led from start to finish in beating the Los Angeles Lakers 128-119.

“We’ve got to do a better job of keeping our man in front of us and do a better job collectively, and we’re capable of doing that”, said Magic forward Victor Oladipo. He was also 8-for-8 from the foul line and added seven assists and seven rebounds.

Perhaps, that’s what makes this Warriors team so impressive; even the very best efforts and beyond from opposing teams is simply not enough.

But Miami made them earn it. They are 41-1 in those games. The Golden State Warriors have had their fair share of that, both by staying healthy and results breaking their way before the final buzzer – like when Brook Lopez somehow missed a two-footer at the end of regulation back in November that would have given the lowly Brooklyn Nets a win in Oakland.

It is insane that this is not that crazy for Curry but we should still enjoy each and every absurd thing that he does because Stephen Curry is a magical person.
