Leonardo DiCaprio doesn’t need to win an Oscar

And if he still doesn’t get the golden statue this time, perhaps the only Oscar that Leo can only get will be the Special Lifetime Achievement award!

From Jack Dawson to Billy Costigan to Jordan Belfort and everything in between, it’s been an incredible ride for Hollywood superstar Leonardo DiCaprio. Will other nominees give him a tough time?

DiCaprio has already won Screen Actors Guild Award and Golden Globe best actor awards for “The Revenant”. This year, the chat didn’t bring any good news for DiCaprio, whose performance in “The Revenant” was slammed as “ridiculous” in the interview. So much of the investment viewers have in DiCaprio’s character’s journey to get revenge on Hardy’s character is the result of how effective Hardy is.

Everyone is saying that Leonardo DiCaprio is finally going to win this year for “The Revenant” after having gone through many nominations and losses over the years. Fassbender has been nominated for his portrayal of the mildly sociopathic tech guru Steve Jobs.

He chose Eddie Redmayne as Best Actor for “The Danish Girl”. Bryan Cranston has delivered another enchanting performance but an Oscar may be a long shot.

The Wolf of Wall Street was another example of DiCaprio at the peak of his powers, as the suave, messed up hero he plays so well.

So in short Leonardo DiCaprio is the strong nominee of the lot for the Best Actor category.

Both actors have been nominated for Oscars – for Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor – for their respective roles, largely physical given the film’s dearth of dialogue. This is one of the most unpredictable categories in Oscar’s history, and someone else could take home the title, but the sentiment seems to be shifting into Sly’s corner in that “We love the guy, and he deserves it” kind of way.

DiCaprio has delivered multiple Oscar-worthy performances in the past.

Will win: DiCaprio in one of the night’s slam-dunk victories.

As earlier stated, this is just that year everyone is sure he would win. Eighty-eight Oscars have been awarded in each of the Best Actor and Best Actress categories since 1929, and Fusion organized the winners according to the profession of the characters they played.

Yet this is not to say his performance in The Revenant is not worth rewarding.

In a poll of more than 1,000 moviegoers conducted by movie-ticket site Fandango.com for USA TODAY, Alejandro González Iñárritu’s wilderness epic The Revenant was the movie they thought deserved to take home best picture at Sunday’s Oscars ceremony (ABC, 7 p.m. ET/4 PT).
