Oscars not a ‘done deal’ this year!

None of the arguments for and against mean much in this category. It has repeatedly happened before, notably to Paul Newman for one of his lesser films.
According to reports, some fans across Spain are meeting up in large numbers the night of the Oscars to help support Leonardo DiCaprio with… good thoughts, we’re guessing? Poetic justice, perhaps, but not Newman’s best.
DiCaprio would have to wait until the 86th Academy Awards in 2014 until he was nominated again for his performance in The Wolf of Wall Street.
DiCaprio is an American actor and film producer. In one episode, themed around The Titantic, he learns how to sing Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On” and does the Kate and Leo pose with women at the local mall. As an actor who has given his life and career to entertaining viewers from around the world, it only seems time that his talent and dedication are recognized.
Roles in a catalogue of popular and lauded movies followed, including Gangs of New York, The Aviator, The Departed, Blood Diamond, Inception, Revolutionary Road, Shutter Island, Django Unchained, The Great Gatsby and The Wolf Of Wall Street.
“I think this has been a banner year as we say for movies…” He is carrying his career with him.
Vicious: Leonardo DiCaprio as frontier guide Hugh Glass in a scene from “The Revenant” Michael Fassbender as Steve Jobs Bryan Cranston gives a tour de force performance as the title character in Trumbo.
Seems like a preposterous idea.
If we were to look at the Oscar pundits on GoldDerby, the Oscar for Best Actor has been Leonardo DiCaprio’s to lose for months now.
Especially since the movie dominated the Baftas by winning three of the biggest awards including Best Actor for Leo. That was previous year, when Bafta picked Boyhood while the Oscar went to Birdman. That didn’t happen either. It was a pretty solid group of nominees for that category, and him being so young would have made it a complete jaw-dropper if he ended up beating the other actors in that category.

Things are about to get even crazier for the doppelganger, as he has been offered his own reality TV show called Romance with DiCaprio by a local Russian station.
