Thames Valley Police posted an update on their Twitter account today, revealing that they had apprehended someone in relation to the event. We have to move on.

“This has got to be one of the worst things I have seen”. We get on well and I’m just glad he is helping me getting through this tough time I have had in the past.

“We need the supporters, it’s their football club and we need them”.

Brunt, who had gone to hand his shirt to a child in the crowd, said he was “disgusted” and “ashamed” by the incident and West Brom assured it would issue a lifetime ban to the culprit. “We have to be very careful with it”.

Pulis hopes Jonny Evans will be fit following a hamstring injury while Gareth McAuley (hamstring) and Craig Dawson (ankle) have returned to training.

The midfielder appeared to be struck as he approached his own club’s fans following Albion’s 3-1 FA Cup defeat at Reading on Saturday.

Salomon Rondon’s victor against Everton on February 13 has lifted West Brom eight points above the Premier League’s drop zone. It’s the way the game is going.

“That is our focus for the next 10 days – these three league games”.

And lastly; but not least, on the penultimate weekend of the 2015/16 season, again either a draw, or ideally a win, should seal West Brom mathematical safety this campaign, if they already hadn’t before their trek down to the south coast.

Pulis has come in for criticism from some fans for the poor form and the former Stoke and Crystal Palace boss says taking flak is a part of the job.

“Tony knows our players well and will know some of the characteristics which may give him a slight advantage”.

West Brom's Saido Berahino has scored six goals for the Baggies this season
