There are plenty of weird conspiracy theories floating around the music world, from the story of “Faul” McCartney to the idea that t here is more than one Andrew W.K. He claims the little pageant queen wasn’t mysteriously murdered in 1996 but was secretly taken out of the public eye so she could morph into pop princess Katy Perry. Its most cited proponent, a fellow who goes by Dave Johnson, is also responsible for videos about the Earth being flat, the Civil War resulting in no casualties, and Donald Trump and Joe Biden being the same person. If Ramsey weren’t murdered, she would be 25 today, a full six years younger than Perry’s current age of 31. That sacrifice was in name only, and that was to get something, and that something was to become a star.

The YouTube user then revealed several facts supporting the claim, including the fact that JonBenet’s parents, John and Patsy, look remarkably similar to Perry’s own parents, Keith Hudson and Mary Perry.
Another theorist with YouTube username Jungle Surfer also pointed to the fact that Perry and JonBenet look alike, right down to their similar eyebrows.
“As you know, this whole entertainment industry is just a charade – you really don’t know the truth”, Johnson continued.

Still, call us insane, but we don’t think this means that Katy Perry is JonBenet Ramsay. “The eyebrows don’t change much on a person”, he said.
