FORECAST: Breezy and chilly Friday

Scattered clouds remain across the region this morning, with a few flurries to the northwest. This morning’s cold temperatures will be followed by highs in the lower 50s.

New Jersey saw mostly clear skies but colder temperatures for Friday after almost a week of cloudy and wet conditions.

Afternoon high temperatures will reach 71 by Sunday.

Skies are sunny today, and they will be mostly sunny all weekend long. We will start in the mid 30s, then climb to the mid 60s Sunday afternoon. Monday a weak cold front passes through the area with a few clouds. Wind chill values will be in the 20s, even falling into the teens overnight. Expect highs in the low 50s, with mild temperatures also carrying into Tuesday and Wednesday.

No worries for the weekend, with rebounding temperatures to 40 for Saturday, and 50 for Sunday under plenty of sunshine. Winds SW 5-15, gusting around 20 miles per hour.

The storm responsible for Wednesday’s severe weather will head into Canada through tonight, leaving behind a dry night with a chilly breeze.

Tuesday, we’ll see mostly cloudy skies along with some peeks of sunshine. Lows will fall down to around 30° with almost calm wind.
