We’ve been drooling over the pictures of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge since the handset was announced on Sunday at MWC 2016 and it looks like South Africans won’t have to wait much longer to get one.

This week, Samsung electronics released their new additions to the Galaxy family of smartphones, bringing to market the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge. “This behaviour may be unexpected by many users and we don’t want our users to lose their files”, Samsung further told the news site.
Here are seven things the Samsung Galaxy S7 can do that the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus can’t.
In Android 6.0 Marshmallow, Google introduced a clever new feature called Adoptable Storage that merges the internal storage with the microSD card, so it shows up as one save location.
The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 will feature a 2K display screen which will surely please your eye, since it will also use the AMOLED display technology. The back of the Mi 5 features 3D Glass which is similar to glass backing design employed by the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and the newly released Galaxy S7. The phones will feature a 12MP rear camera, and a 5MP front camera.
Koh also stated that Samsung has tried to include in Galaxy S7 as many features as possible that were discontinued in the previous models.
Samsung has reduced the launch price of this year’s model by $50. No microSD support getting you down? Both the devices run on an Exynos 7 Octa 7420 processor clocked at 2.1 GHz. The Galaxy S7 Edge, meanwhile, has a curved screen that nixes the bezel on both sides. G5 carries a different kind innovation with its removable battery that can be replaced with a bigger camera or a digital-to-analog converter.
Although there’s no way to confirm Samsung will drop its prices on the S7 they have slashed the cost of last year’s S6.
