Maine Governor Who Compared IRS to Gestapo Endorses Trump
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie offered up the latest twist of the Republican presidential primary when he endorsed Donald Trump on Friday, one of us wrote.

“Secondly, I’ve been on that stage”. “You know, “Vladimir Putin isn’t being nice to me, I’m not going to return his phone call”?”.
In his announcement today, Christie said, “it was clear the only choice was Donald Trump, the best choice was Donald Trump”.
Trump received the coveted endorsement of highly respected New Jersey Governor Chris Christie at a campaign rally in Fort Worth, TX.
Trump spent much of Friday’s news conference and rally ripping Rubio, and zeroed in on that debate night featuring Christie’s attacks.
Some have claimed that Chris Christie’s endorsement of Trump for president is more telling of his hate for Marco Rubio than it is for his love of Trump as the endorsement is deemed “Marco hate”.
Christie said he decided before the 10th Republican debate on Thursday night he was ready to throw his support behind Trump.
Nevertheless, he holds a big lead in national polling heading into the Tuesday primaries and a caucus in 11 states with a treasure of 595 delegates that could make his nomination all but certain.
In the early days of the 2016 campaign, Christie – in his second-term as governor of New Jersey – was considered a favorite to win the GOP nod.
Mr Christie dropped out of the race two weeks ago.
Love him or hate him, you gotta hand it to Donald Trump: no one is better at manipulating the news cycle than he is. He’ll provide strong, unequivocal leadership, he will do what needs to be done to protect the American people, first and foremost, both in the homeland and in creating jobs for this country.
On Monday, his campaign spokesman told NJ.com that the now-suspended presidential campaign had sold its email list of supporters and donors to none other than former chief Republican rival, Florida senator Marco Rubio. In January, the governor referred to out-of-state drug dealers who come to ME with names like D-Money, Smoothy and Shifty, adding that “half the time they impregnate a young white girl before they leave, which is a real sad thing because then we have another issue that we’ve got to deal with down the road”, the New York Times reported.

Speaking to reporters Friday in the State House, Baker said he’s not disappointed with Christie’s endorsement of Trump, but “surprised”.
